Bruno Cataldo and his brother Paul of Antonio’s Italian Ristorante travel to the World Pizza Championship in Salsomaggiore, Italy. Bruno came home placing 84th, with 647 points and Paul with 578 points came home placing 120th. "It happens," said Bruno with a shrug and a smile. "It's still good," said Bruno, who owns Mezza Luna and Bruno's Pizza in Elkhart and has franchised Bruno's locations in Goshen and Middlebury. The Bruno's Pizza locations in St. Joseph County were started by his uncle. "I learned a lot of things." Bruno's pizza entry was hand-tossed dough, thin in the middle and thick on the outside that had grilled eggplant, roasted red peppers, red onions, sun-dried tomatoes and spinach with vinaigrette. "For the first time, I thought I did good," he said, indicating he plans to continue competing. "It's not so easy."
